FREE COMIC BOOK DAY A HUGE SUCCESS!

I want to give a big shout-out to the hundreds of fans who turned out for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY this year. The store was packed all day long, and we even had to open up a little early because of many customers who came early and were waiting outside.

WNEP, the local ABC News affiliate, was here shooting film which eventually ended up on the 6:00 news on Saturday night, providing the rest of the area with a glimpse of what we fans already know--comics are alive and well in Northeast PA.

Thanks again to our special guest, TOM DERENICK, who was great with the fans, signing autographs and drawing everything from Spider-Man to Lockheed the Dragon!

I hope to see everyone on a regular basis, but at the very least, seeya for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2009!
